Built for Carnage

The ZENE Bricks Light Kit for LEGO Carnage #76199 is made for builders who want the bust to hold its shape after dark, not disappear into a red-and-black silhouette. Carnage already has a sharp, aggressive profile; the lighting keeps that character intact while giving the eyes and open mouth a stronger presence on display. Its oversized eyes, layered teeth, and sweeping red tendrils already give it more movement than a typical display bust. The kit respects those shapes instead of covering them with unnecessary decorative color effects.

White Eyes, Red Core

The eye lighting is the first thing you notice. Cool white LEDs sit behind the large white eye sections, creating a hard, comic-book stare without bleaching the surrounding red slopes or black outlines. Because the light stays concentrated inside the eye area, the red forehead panels keep their natural color and the black printed tendrils remain easy to see. From a normal viewing distance, the eyes look bright and clean rather than blown out, which matters on a model with so much glossy red plastic. Inside the mouth, the effect changes completely. A deep red light fills the throat and lower jaw, catching the edges of the black teeth and spikes instead of flattening them into one dark mass. The front fangs stay mostly black, while the red illumination behind them creates narrow highlights along their sides. That separation makes the mouth look deeper and more mechanical, especially when the room lights are low. The result fits a neon display setup or arcade-style illumination without turning the model into a generic RGB prop. White remains focused above, red stays contained below, and the face keeps the harsh contrast that makes the Carnage bust recognizable. The red spill reaches the inner floor of the jaw, reflecting from lighter bricks before fading behind the front teeth. That falloff keeps the center vivid while the outer mouth stays darker, giving the opening a convincing sense of depth.

Thin Wires, Full Movement

That clean color split depends on careful wire routing. ZENE Bricks uses extremely thin cables that can pass between plates, along recessed seams, and behind the eye and jaw sections without forcing bricks apart. The wires stay out of the visible facial surfaces, so the red shell remains tidy from the front and three-quarter angles. More importantly, the lighting installation avoids the model’s movable and removable areas. The jaw assembly, teeth, side panels, and display stand are not blocked, pinched, or held under tension by the cables. During installation, the lines can be tucked close to the inner structure and guided around connection points instead of crossing them. That reduces the usual risk of a cable catching when you adjust the jaw or reposition the bust for cleaning. Once everything is seated, the model still feels like the original build in your hands. No section needs to be left loose to make room for wiring, and no visible gap has to be accepted just to power the LEDs. The light sources stay hidden behind the bricks, which keeps direct glare away from the viewer and lets reflected light do the work.

Made for Dark Displays

On a gaming desk display, the white eyes cut through monitor light while the red mouth stays readable beside keyboards and ambient strips. On a bookshelf or in a dark room, the lighting pulls the teeth, jaw depth, printed tendrils, and layered red panels out of the shadows, giving the Carnage model a clear face from across the room. This makes the model easy to recognize without bright room lighting or a separate spotlight aimed directly at the stand.
