Robot Arm Kit | 4DOF | Arduino | Kids

Why You'll Love It!

This 4DOF robot arm kit is a do-it-yourself mechanical arm with a claw, built around an Arduino-compatible controller for hands-on STEM learning. It is aimed at curious builders and beginners who want to assemble, program and control a working robotic arm while learning the basics of coding.

Key Features:

• Keyestudio Kit: This STEM kit from Keyestudio lets you build a controllable mechanical arm with a claw, supplying what is needed for installation and for debugging along the way.
• Four Servos: The arm uses an Arduino REV4 board and two joystick modules to control the angle of four servos, giving four degrees of freedom for multiple movements.
• Wired Joystick Control: The first of three control methods uses the wired joysticks included in the kit, so you can start moving the arm as soon as the build is done.
• Bluetooth Option: A phone Bluetooth-compatible control method is supported, though the HC-06 module is not included; test code and an Android app are provided for those who add it.
• PS2 Wireless Option: The kit also supports wireless PS2 joystick control, but the PS2 module is not included, so only the test code for that method is supplied.
• Drive Expansion Board: A TB6612FNG motor and servo drive expansion board accepts DC 7-15V input and has a PS2 interface that plugs directly onto the board.
• Learning Resources: Detailed installation instructions, debugging methods and a guided start with Arduino help newcomers move from assembly to programming, with a tutorial link provided for further reference.
• Power Notes: The listed battery type is 18650 and batteries are not included, so plan for your own power source when you are ready to run the arm.
