Proceeds That Make a Difference

All proceeds from The Adventures of Benny Backwards support Cannon Pavlus in his fight against cancer. Cannon is our hero: strong, brave, and full of courage. He was diagnosed with high-risk, stage 4 metastatic neuroblastoma on February 16, 2024, and is receiving treatment at Seattle Children’s Hospital.

Cannon’s parents, Caleb and Sarah Pavlus, along with their son Finn, have shown incredible strength and resilience throughout this journey. They are family friends of the author, and Caleb and Matthew first connected aboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt in 2020.
